TCP Homecare | Irish Pharmacy Award Winners
We are delighted to announce that TCP Homecare, won the Easolief Duo Business Development Award at the Irish Pharmacy Awards on the May 25th, 2024.
The teams in TCP Homecare Pharmacy were nominated for an amazing three awards including the Uniphar Training & Development Award and the Innovation & Service Development Award.
This award is testament to their hard work, dedication, and their commitment in providing best-in-class service and support for our customers and their patients.
TCP Homecare is one of the largest providers of 'direct to patient' services in the healthcare sector in Ireland. The company provides 'nurse-led' solutions to a range of services all delivered at the patient's home.
Across PHX Ireland nine of our dedicated teams and colleagues were finalists in the Irish Pharmacy News Awards 2024.
LloydsPharmacy Blanchardstown were nominated for the Haleon Self-Care Award. The team based in Blanchardstown Shopping Centre have had a major role within community, with a growing diverse population in the area this has provided the unique opportunity to make them the first point of call for all patient’s needs.
Kenmare were nominated for the Community Pharmacy Team of the Year. The Kenmare Team were nominated for their Teamwork and collaboration, which are the cornerstones of their success. They actively listen, share insights, and seek feedback & each team member brings unique skills to the table. They celebrate diversity—whether it’s expertise in medication management, counselling, or administrative tasks, with their combined strengths creating a holistic approach to patient care.
Shauna McElligott from LloydsPharmacy Jetland was also nominated for Counter Assistant of the Year. Shauna's joins LloydsPharmacy with a diverse background in hospitality. Her unique perspective to customer service sets her apart. Shauna’s philosophy is that "The customer should always feel good on their departure," which serves as a beacon to her fellow colleagues.
Our colleague Sophie Boylan from LloydsPharmacy Nutgrove was nominated for Community Pharmacy Technician of the Year. Sophie has worked with LloydsPharmacy Ireland for almost 7 years, having joined as a Pharmacy Assistant in 2017. She is a keen favourite with patients, going above and beyond to help them and in turn many request to deal directly with Sophie. It is a testament to that fact that shows how valued she is in the local community. Sophie’s has also showcased excellent leadership and decision-making skills in her work.
Our new colleagues in McCabes Pharmacy were represented by nicoleta talos, nominated for Community Pharmacy Technician of the Year – Nicoleta has been with McCabes Pharmacy for 13 years. Also nominated is Anna Cotter who has been with McCabes for almost 7 years, was nominated for Community Pharmacist of the Year.
These nominations are testament to the hard work and commitment of all our teammates. Well done!
